At Shanjian, we believe that quality is not just a final inspection – it is a process that starts with raw materials and continues through every production step. As a source factory with over ten years of experience, we control all stages from fiberglass yarn to finished mesh rolls. This end-to-end integration is how we guarantee consistency, on-time delivery, and competitive pricing.

Step 1: Yarn selection and testing.
Everything begins with fiberglass yarn. We source high-grade C-glass or E-glass yarn from certified suppliers. Each batch is tested for filament diameter (typically 9–11 microns), tensile strength, and coating adhesion. Yarn that does not meet our standards is rejected before it ever enters our factory.

Step 2: Weaving.
Our factory is equipped with 160 professional looms, including rapier and water-jet looms. These machines weave the yarn into precise grid patterns such as 4x4mm, 5x5mm, 8x8mm, and 10x10mm. We constantly monitor tension to ensure uniform openings. Uneven tension leads to weak spots, which will fail under stress. Our operators check every roll in real time.

Step 3: Heat-setting.
After weaving, the raw mesh passes through a heat-setting oven. This process stabilizes the intersections, preventing the mesh from sliding or deforming. Without heat-setting, the mesh would stretch and warp during installation. Shanjian’s heat-setting process also improves the mesh’s dimensional stability under temperature changes.

Step 4: Coating (for window screens and special meshes).
For coated products like window screens, we apply a PVC or polyester coating. The mesh is dipped into a liquid coating bath, then passed through precision rollers to remove excess. Finally, it goes through a curing oven. This coating bonds the yarn intersections, prevents fraying, and adds UV resistance. Our coating thickness is carefully controlled to maintain flexibility while maximizing durability.

Step 5: Quality testing.
Every production batch is sampled and tested in our on-site lab. We use specific gravity testers to check coating uniformity, electronic scales to verify weight (grams per square meter), and tension meters to measure tensile strength. We also perform alkali resistance tests for our construction mesh. Only rolls that pass all tests are packaged and labeled.

Step 6: Packaging and shipping.
Each roll is wound on a strong core, wrapped in plastic, and packed in cartons or pallets. We label each box with product specifications, batch number, and production date. This traceability ensures that if any issue arises, we can identify the exact batch and correct it immediately.

With a daily output of 50,000 square meters, Shanjian meets large-scale orders without compromising quality. We invite customers to schedule a factory tour or request a virtual walkthrough. See for yourself how our process delivers the reliable mesh you need.
